American pianist Bruce Brubaker presents “Music For Airport: 1.1 (Edit)”, an acoustic piano reinterpretation of a foundational piece by Brian Eno. In just four minutes and 33 seconds, this version captures the essence of the original seventeen-minute piece, which, with its minimalist structure, repetitive nature, and evolving sonic motifs, serves as the benchmark for the genre known as “ambient” music.

Released in November 2023, Bruce Brubaker’s “Eno Piano” expands his repertoire to include a collection of reinterpretations of major works by Brian Eno. A specialist in American minimalist music (such as Philip Glass and Terry Riley), Brubaker brings a unique perspective to these pieces.
