Following his seventh album Evaporator, released in February, Nathan Fake returns with Caldera, a four-track EP exploring new sonic territories. Moving from the open spaces of Evaporator towards a more dreamlike and untamed landscape, the British producer blends electronic textures, rhythmic tension and contrasting atmospheres.

Written at Christmas 2025, the title track unfolds into a tropical rave, driven by unstable rhythms, off-kilter kicks and crackling percussion. On Palau, floating pianos evoke a soothing, verdant atmosphere between funk fusion and psychedelic vaporwave, while GongGong plunges into a feverish dream of grinding textures and crackling interference. Closing the EP, Slow Yamaha Dub reimagines a track from Evaporator through dub-inflected keys, clattering cymbals and deep, humming bass.

With Caldera, Nathan Fake extends the sonic exploration of his latest album, delivering a hypnotic and unpredictable journey through the many facets of his electronic sound.
