About Ezio Bosso:
Italian composer/conductor and pianist, Ezio Bosso shares with Vanessa Wagner a mastery of the classical aesthetic canons and a profound openness to minimal music. As a teenager, he began his solo career in bass and piano in France before studying composition and conducting in Austria. Diagnosed in 2011 with a degenerative disease, Bosso will continue to compose ballets, film scores, pieces for theater or opera, sonatas and 5 symphonies. His solo album ‘13th Room’ released in 2015 topped the Italian charts, mixing personal piano compositions with pieces by Bach, Chopin and John Cage. Before 6 is taken from ‘And The things That Remain’ released in 2016. A year later, he announced that his illness now prevented him from playing the piano.
