On September 18, 2026, Felix Antonio, the latest addition to the InFiné roster, will release Felix Antonio & The Sea, a seven-track indie folk EP. This debut project marks an important step in the young artist’s career, following his selection this year for the Chantier des Francofolies de La Rochelle.
The sea is the common thread running through the seven tracks: a metaphorical, regenerative figure and a source of hope in the face of an oppressive world. It becomes a refuge to reconnect with the essentials, the elements, the great outdoors and a sense of simplicity.
Inspired by Sufjan Stevens, James Blake, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, the EP combines bright, timeless songwriting with a modern approach, shaped by precise sound textures, subtle field recordings and an attention to detail characteristic of the InFiné universe.
Felix Antonio & The Sea also marks a personal turning point. Felix Antonio reflects on his transformation, his detachment from certain patterns and attachments, and the end of a chapter marked by his project Silk Sin Lovers. A transition towards a freer, more sincere and sensitive expression.
While the lyrics retain a certain sense of melancholy, the harmonies open up and the compositions tend towards major keys. For Felix Antonio, optimism has become a political act, and rejecting cynicism an act of resistance.
