At first glance, Danton Eeprom’s Hex Tape is a slick, slow-paced RnB-infused number with lashings of old-school synths and sexy tomboy vocals, not the sort of stuff you'd expect from the London-based French producer on a normal day.
So how did that happen exactly? It turns out Danton met glamorous vocalist Emma Darling during a NYE karaoke party gone wild; amidst the chaos they duetted on a Bowie song and formed Leave The Boy a soon as they recovered from the night, just for a bit fun.
